Description: WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet with Scabbard. Ricasso is marked "7188" over "a" on one side, the reverse is "J.Sch", and the spine has "40" for 1940. The bron/black grips have a few light scratches. The blade has 90% of the finish, unsharpened, a few nicks, it is tight, no rust, and the last 1/16" of the tip is bent. The pommel has a double Waffenampt mark that looks like "WaA655". Lock button is functional. The scabbard has "6257" over "e" on the frontside and on the backside is "Carl Eickhorn" over "1940". The scabbard is solid, has a couple small edge dings, and the ball finial is Waffenampt marked. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 15 1/8", and in the scabbard it is 15 7/8". Check out my other War items!!
