And the ailments are like they've never been treated! n.b.: The cards from the 1999 era are very different from those of 2003 onward, though they kept the same overall colors and design. Here's how to tell them apart: The 1999 era cards typically *start* with a verse, e.g., "Pluck the wishbone / from his chest / it may look easy / but it's a test." Also in the 1999 era cards, the name of the ailment is underlined. In the "wishbone" example above, the word "wishbone" is underlined. If they couldn't work the name of the ailment into the verse, it typically appears after. The 2003 cards are simpler in design, with the name of the ailment prominent at the top of the card. The "Brain Freeze" ailment was introduced in 2003, and does not appear in the 1999 era game. Because the plastic pieces are identical, this listing spans both editions. Please be careful to select the correct year from the menu when placing your order.
