If you replace the gear and it still won’t work, the problem is most likely that the geared motor is broken inside (mine had this issue as well as the gear I designed being broken). The gears in the motor are far too small for me to 3D print, but luckily you can purchase a new motor on amazon. I had to design this gear to fix mine and understand how frustrating this mechanism being broken is, and decided to list the gear here since I know many others have the same issue and I figured I could help them out.
