Rule booklet indicates 2nd printing 1968. Game box lid shows a fair amount of wear but has no split corners or edges (the only part of the game that shows signs of wear), it has some mild lid dishing with some corner creases (lid dishing means the top is sunk in a little). The left side of the lid shows fading. There is edge facing wear, lid sides also have some creases. Lid shows signs of age related mild yellowing, some light signs of handling soiling, light stains seen on box sides. Board is in excellent clean condition with no warping or facing issues. Counter sheets are unpunched and clean. Rule booklet is in nice condition. The 4 blue player card sheets have some browning on the blank backs, one much more than the others as it had been in contact with the inside box bottom. The blue colors are slightly different in a few cases on those cards, which may be related to aging. Mild edge bend on one of them as shown. The beginner's game rule sheet shows edge browning as shown. Back of beginner's rule sheet has advertisements for other games by Lou Zocchi (as a former collector of board and war games I had never heard or seen some of those). Includes 2 Game Science pencils (unsharpened) and a die. Box bottom is intact, it shows some general age related discoloring.
