Description: Up for sale is a rare Rennie Stennett for the Pittsburgh Pirates 1976 MSA Disc Isaly's Sweet William Family Restaurants Disc #60 from a set break. Condition is "Acceptable". There are some imperfections including surface scratches and edge wear and some discoloration due to age. Overall, the disc is in decent condition for it's age and would make an awesome gift for any Stennett or Pirates fan. Please see photos for more information. Reinaldo Antonio Stennett Porte was a Major League Baseball player from 1981 to 1981. He played shortstop and second base for the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Francisco Giants. AWorld Serieschampion with the Pirates in 1979, Stennett is one of three players to collect seven hitsin a game, which he did in a 220 victory over the Chicago Cubs, in 1975. In an 11-season career, Stennett was a .274 batter, with 41 homerunsand 432runs batted in 1,237games. He was a good contact hitter with occasional power, and an aggressive and smart runner on the basepaths. As a fielder, Stennett had sure hands for fielding balls up the middle, as well as a strong and accurate arm to help complete double plays. The 1976 Isaly Sweet William Disc Set was regionally produced and distributed throughout the Pittsburgh area by the Isaly Dairy and Sweet William Restaurants. As a result these discs are rare and highly sought after. There were a total of 70 discs in the set. Up for sale is disc number 60 out of 70. The discs have various colored fronts, are un-numbered and measure 3-3/8" in diameter. These discs are considered an "oddball item", which make them highly sought after being collectors.
