Description: Reginald Marsh (American, 1898 – 1954) two (2) unsigned figure sketches. --- These are two (2) unsigned and untitled figure sketches by Reginald Marsh. Marsh was in the habit of making quick sketches to illustrate various points of figure drawing to his students. Fortunately, some sketches such as these two have survived. The owner of these drawings, Marcia Corbino, recalls when Marsh made the sketches while she was a student at the Art Student's League in New York in 1950. This information is on the second page of the certificate of authenticity. One drawing illustrates proportions of the figure (4 heads from the top of the head to the figure's midpoint when using 8 heads as the proportional standard for the figure.) The other drawing demonstrates the varied use of line, which is one of the hallmarks of Marsh's drawings. Unsigned. Overall good condition for sketches this old on cheap paper. Certificate of authenticity is included.FREE SHIPPING. We normally ship items within one to two business days via USPS. Sorry.
