Description: A rare antique brass and steel rim latch which has been stripped of several layers of paint and comes in an attractive aged industrial finish. Left or right hand fit. It measures 100mm x 78mm x 16mm. It has been oiled and has a very smooth action. The brass slider moves up and down and the brass knob moves left and right to lock and unlock. Has a brass plaque with wording 'Thistle Trade Mark'. It comes with a period steel keep. A perfect period accessory for an authentic house restoration.
