Description: This is a pair of attractive vintage bookends depicting Rearing Horses in beautiful pressed glass format – clear glass but with a very light golden tinge to its coloration The Horse Figures are identical, each measuring 8“ high, 5 1/2 “ long, and about 3“ thick, quite heavy and substantial each weighing about 1.270 kg, with the bases semi hollow reaching about 3” into the rear legs portion, the tops are solid glass.. These were anonymously donated to a religious group in my area for charitable purposes, and there is no indication on the bookends that we can find as to exact place of origin or manufacturer. Graded in Extremely Fine condition-no chips or scratches- a fine pair of vintage bookends for home or library.
