Description: Listed is an RCA MI-6203 LO Varacoustic multi-pattern ribbon microphone from the 50s. The microphone is in perfect working order, and was serviced a few years ago by a professional tech, who also added a new xlr cable to replace the aftermarket cable the microphone came with. This microphone sounds great on any source, though a high gain microphone preamp is recommended to get the most out of it, or a ribbon mic signal booster. There is a significant amount of wear and tear cosmetically on the chassis and grille, but all internal components are in good condition. This microphone is often compared to the RCA 77 as they both utilize the same motor/ribbon.
