The program begins with one breakdown of a show introduction, then the complete program introduction. This radio program may be titled "Good Listening". Raymond Scott & His Orchestra perform "Strike Up The Band", "Far Away Places" vocal Dorothy Collins, "Singing In The Rain", "Gallway Bay", "Power Your Face With Sunshine" vocal Dorothy Collins, "Moonlight On The Ganges". The last song is cut off. This is most likely the first half of a 30 minute radio program. The program is sponsored by Alka Seltzer. On The Raymond Scott side of the disc is written "3/31/42 ? 44" as possible dates, however I believe this is actually from March 31, 1949 as Raymond Scott had a different show sponsored by Alka Seltzer in 1949 titled "Herb Shriner Time", and it would be reasonable to assume these programs were recorded on consecutive datesI could not find any reference to either one of these radio programs in any online radio log or databaseDisc is in Excellent condition with Excellent or better sound, beautiful disc!
