The Woodlore Knife was originally designed by Ray Mears and is hand-made by Alan Wood, one of the world's finest knife-makers. Ray had used many different types of knives before, all of which proved unsuitable for Bushcraft. So, over a period of six years, he designed one which would meet all of his demands. He has now been using this knife for well over two decades. It is expertly crafted from O1 High Carbon Tool Steel, which is strong, sharpens to a very fine edge, and has a full tang sculpted scale handle in birds eye maple.
