Description: Rauler Size: 60 cm Seat Tube 57 cm Top TubeCondition: The bike is in good to very good condition. The frame has no cracks, no dents and is not bent. It does have a few paint chips that are shown and one scratch on chainstay (see photo). All parts have been thoroughly checked and are working fine. The bike has tuned and assembled by vintage specialist. The wheels are true and like new. Tires are new as are the cables, handlebar tape, NOS front derailleur and chain. Era: 1980s (Best guess is 1983 or 1984)Description:The brand Rauler was founded by the brothers Raul and Reclus Gozzi in the 1970s. The name Rauler is a mix of Raul and the first letter of Reclus (Raul e Reclus). Rauler were originally contracted by Colnago to build frames under Ernesto’s marque until they parted ways in 1984, and were also responsible for Colnago’s pantography. Their own bikes are really well built pieces of classic Italian craftsmanship. This Rauler is made of Columbus tubes and aside from the brake handles which appear to be Dia Compe and the chain, the remainder of the bike is equipped with Campagnolo components of the Super Record group. This bike runs very quiet and looks stunning with it's chrome accents and pantograph elements. It's rolling on Mavic tubular GL 330 rims and new Challenge Elite tires. Related Products
