Rare WATA 7.5 CIB Graded Power Stone Rental Copy Variant

Description: A rare and lesser-known version of Power Stone for the Sega Dreamcast. Just a few weeks before the Dreamcast launched in North America in September 1999, some video stores offered the console along with a select few launch titles for customers to rent. This "Rental Copy" of Power Stone was among the games available for rent. It differs from the retail version in a few noticeable ways. The front cover insert prominently displays the words RENTAL COPY beneath the Power Stone logo. The cover consists of a single one-sided sheet and lacks an instruction manual. The disc's front artwork has a non-reflective, "flat" appearance, unlike the shiny finish of the retail version. Additionally, the copyright text is positioned differently on the back cover compared to the retail edition. The Rental Copy's back cover omits the "Arcade Stick" entirely and features differently sized elements, such as the "CRI ADX" and "Capcom Edge" logos. While the game disc appears to contain the full game, it may have some variations from the retail version. This is an authentic Sega Dreamcast game, produced by Sega. The text "Produced by or under license from Sega Enterprises, Ltd" can be found in the ring around the center of the disc's backside. The cover artwork maintains the same high-quality and clarity as other retail Dreamcast releases, and the disc artwork is professionally printed. The “Replacement Case” Grader’s note refers to the fact that the Rental Copies used a video store case rather than the Jewel cases used for the retail version.
