It utilized the settings and characters from the series, but was set years after the end of the series, and featured older characters coming to terms with being cut off from Earth for so many years. -Wiki- THIS SCARCE POSTER IS A TRUE RARITY CREATED FOR DISPLAY IN COMIC/COLLECTORS STORES TO ANNOUNCE YEAR TWO OF THE INNOVATION COMIC SERIES. The Bill Mumy (written and supervised) publication is (often) considered to be the BEST version (in comic form) of Lost In Space as it's source material was taken directly from the CLASSIC TELEVISION SERIES with all original characters in tact. It deals with many of the issues facing the Robinsons on a far more adult level. Such issues as age, sexuality, loneliness, and the family's exhausting life wandering in space for so many years is addressed, making this the ONLY version TRUE TO THE CLASSIC SERIES. The "Space Family Robinson" comics (which were in turn based on the 1812 novel "Swiss Family Robinson") were of course used as the basis of the series with a completely different "look" and characters. -comicode- The poster measures 14"X20" and matt/frames beautifully and is in MINT condition.
