Description: Rare Vintage Aynsley Bone China Pale Yellow Swirl Teapot & Lid; 5 Cups Aynsley Pale Yellow Swirl Fluted Teapot. Bone China. England. This teapot stands approximately 7.5” tall to the top of its swirled green finial and approximately 10.5” from handle to spout. Without the lid the teapot height is 5 1/8”. It holds about 5 cups.The pale-yellow body & lid are molded with swirled flutes as well. The white handle is topped & lined with the same green as the finial and beautifully molded with fluting & almost Rococo-like flourishes. Gilt trim on the top of pot, edge of lid & mouth of spout. The makers mark on the bottom is stamped in green ‘Aynsley, ‘Bone China’ ‘England’ and there is also the handwritten number ‘154517’This teapot is very hard to find.CONDITION: Excellent. No chips, cracks or crazing. Just needs to be cleaned. Very attractive teapot.
