Description: Photos are of the item you will receive. I bought this kalimba many years ago from a man selling African items on 125th street in Harlem, NYC. I believe it was hand-made in Africa and imported for sale in the US. It is a beautiful and hand-made item. The wooden top is beautifully trimmed in black and decorated with an image created with a burning tool. The bridge is also decorated with a burning tool in a cross-hatched pattern. Uniquely, the instrument appears to made from a tomato can. It measures about 5 inches across and is about 2 inches deep. It has 7 keys and is tuned in a beautiful sounding range of pitches. It’s a lot of fun to play. Ships worldwide, securely packaged. There may be shipping delays due to the pandemic. International buyers may have to pay tariffs.
