Description: Rare! Three old tickets that were to be issued by the St. Johnsbury & Lake Champlain Railroad. They are numbered consecutively and are each 11 by 2 3/4 inches. The New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad agent's Stub at the top indicates the trip went from Cambridge Junction VT. to Windsor via the Central Vermont Railway to Springfield via the Boston & Maine Railroad and then to an un-designated town via the N.Y., N.H. & H. R.R. These are not reprints- they are on appropriately water-marked paper. My husband is a native Vermonter 86 years young, and he doesn't know how long we have had these tickets, but probably at least 40 years. Study the photos, and please let me know if the description is wrong.
