Description: for sale is an Uncommon Cast iron sharpening stone storage box. It is embossed on the bottom The Carborundum Company Niagara Falls N.Y. On the inside is it stamped 8 Cover, and, on the bottom, it is stamped 8 Box. The box and the lid have no cracks breaks or repairs. The bottom has the original cork feet. The bottom measures 9'' long. The lid measures 8 5/8'' long, outside dimensions. The outside has not been cleaned. It is completely as found. On the inside, I wiped the grime out of the reservoir. It comes with a synthetic combination sharpening stone. It is as found and uncleaned. The stone is somewhat in rough condition and will need a good cleaning and a lapping.
