Rare Signed Hawkes 12" American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Footed Vase Steuben

Description: Here's a gorgeous American brilliant cut glass vase that is signed with the T. G. Hawkes trefoil ring. I have not found this pattern, although similar flower and leaf cuts are common with Hawkes. I did find one other Hawkes vase with the same shape in the Vernay pattern. It was described as likely be a Steuben blank and I would agree. The vase is cut with a floral spray on four sides. "Dots" are cut into the base and the balance of the body. There is a horizontal row of small oval cuts around the vase a couple of inches below the rim, and small cuts just under the rim. The vase measures 12 1/8" tall and 5 1/4" diameter at the rim. The base is 5 5/8" diameter and the top opening (inside diameter) is about 3 1/4". It weighs a hefty 4 lb 3 oz. I can visualize this holding a dozen long stem roses beautifully! The vase has no chips, nicks, cracks or repairs. There is some base wear as expected with age.
