Description: Just out of a local smoke free house is this rare pair of antique porcelain figures. They depict 2 boys searching for crayfish. One shows a boy lifting a rock exposing a crayfish and a small fish swimming in a small rocky pool. The other shows another boy apparently finding a crayfish and is pinching his thumb while another smaller crayfish lurks below in a small rocky pool. They both have great detail, color, and both have a space on the backs for holding matches. The first measures about 6 1/2 inches high, about 5 inches wide, and about 4 3/4 inches deep. The second measures about 5 7/8 inches high, about 6 1/4 inches at its widest, and about 6 1/2 inches deep. Both figures are well marked 556 EBS and have their blue anchor hallmark. The porcelain figures are both in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. See photos as they are part of the description.
