Description: Antique Blue Onion Warming Plate Description: Presented for your consideration is this hard to find, antique Blue Onion warming plate. The plate is believed to have been made by Meissen and features the Blue Onion pattern throughout. The plate is embedded into a metal bowl shaped base with a handle at the left and right sides. At the top is a small nozzle for pouring hot water into the pan to keep the contents on the plate warm. Bottom of the pan has 3 small rounded feet and is marked with "GMT & Bro. Germany." This neat warming plate would make a nice addition to any Blue Onion collection or great to use!The cap to the nozzle is missing. The porcelain plate appears to be free of chips and cracks. Some light glaze crazing it throughout. Three dents are in the sides of the pan. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition.
