John Hancock, Esq., is appointed to deliver the ORATION in commemoration of the Bloody Tragedy on the 5th of March 1770." which was the Boston Massacre. Page 2 begins with a report of a man being tarred & feathered for an unwarranted seizure of a ship, with a notice: "...for bringing villains or greater consequence to a sense of guilt and infamy." signed in type by the "Chairman of the Committee for tarring & feathering." Page 3 begins with an item on the contested land in Penna. claimed by Connecticut. Other news items of the day.
