Description: 1860s CDV photo showing a woman posing with her husband, who to my eye appears to be Native American... "Americanized" Native Americans were not uncommon, however a mixed marriage would have been extremely rare. The woman also appears to be pregnant, wearing maternity style clothing.A very interesting image... they are not identified on the image, but on the album page this CDV was originally in was written "Mudge", I believe.. whether referring to him, her or neither I have no idea.Philadelphia studio backmark, which is printed upside down, as shown.4" x 2.5". Very good antique condition, slightly bumped bottom-left corner.Shipping: Photo mailer or boxed Priority
