The character is standing, arms outstretched from the body. The face carried forward is streaked and its eyes are encrusted with cowrie shells. Beautiful old reddish patina.Provenance: from the collection of Mr. Mongu, a Belgian-Congolese professor, who traveled through his native country in search of rare and authentic objects.
