Maligano Jasper is a beautiful stone with striking abstract patterns in shades of peachy orange, creamy white and grey/black. It was discovered in 2012 in an area of ancient volcanic hot springs near a small village for which it is named, in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Maligano Jasper is a conglomerate stone made up of clasts (chards, fragments and rounded pieces of rock) held together by a 'cement' of sand, mud and in this case what must be volcanic ash from the grey/black colouring. The stone you see in the photographs is the one you will receive. The acrylic stand is not included. Tumble stones are an ideal size to hold during meditation or to be used as pocket stones.
