Description: This giant, cleaving Indo-Persian beheading sword is capable of removing an animals head (cow?) with a single blow. A heavy, massive ‘tulwar’ of sorts, it measures 40 inches long aol, with a 33.5 inch blade that is 2.75 inchs at widest and a thick 1/4 inch blade thickness. The 7 inch hilt (10 inches if lanquet is included) with near 3 inch long curved pommel extension. Possibly from the Persian revival period or earlier, this giant tulwar has a heavily carved blade and hilt with figures of elephants and tigers.
