Description: I was told by a valued friend and Heddon expert: "This lure was part of the #7300 Series that Heddon made since 1926. It was first made with Toilet Seat Hardware, then 2 Piece Heavy Duty Hardware, and then this Cup Rig Style (as shown) but with Extremely Heavy Duty Reinforced with Side Pins on the lure deeply holding the side treble hooks, Heavy Duty Front Eye Screw deeply into front of the lure with a solid ring added to it and a deeply inserted screw as well in the back of the lure holding the Rear Treble Hook! The 7 Inch 2 Piece Musky Lure does not appear in the catalog it seems, only the 7 in. One Piece does. This Lure was made from about 1946 to 1950 and has the Correct Box as shown! Of all of these lures made throughout the years, it seems that this is one of the strongest made as far as hardware!"See Pics.
