Description: Here we have a rare historical flask from the 1840s. This flask was blown at the at the Baltimore Glass Works in Baltimore MD. This example is a GI-74 mold featuring a bust of Zachary Taylor with "Rouch & Ready" on one side, the other having a corn stalk with "Corn For The World" embossed above. The impression on this one is excellent showing great detail and strong embossing. The glass is a light greenish aqua coloration that of full of whittle as well as a few long bubbles within the neck! The base has an open pontil scar left from the blowing process. This flask is a pint in size and is free of damage such as chips, cracks, bruises, open bubbles, pot stone issues, stains, wear, etc. A top shelf example! If anyone has any questions, please ask.
