Description: Here is a rare piece of French yellow ware - a large late 19th century filtered water dispenser. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines, chips and is complete with it’s lid and spigot. Embossed on the front is a medallion indicating that it contains filtered water and I believe 24 refers to it’s capacity in 24 litres. The backside is embossed “Made in France”. I was told that this was used in pharmacies. Measures 18” tall and 8 3/4” in diameter.
