Description: Vintage Edobaud French Made 14"L Bulkhead Flatcar 3-Rail O Gauge Metal Frame/Wood Deck Nut & Bolt Construction PreWar Issue End Bumpers Truss Rods No Original Box Offered for sale is a vintage PreWar Edobaud 3-Rail O Gauge BULKHEAD FLATCAR, with sturdy nut and bolt construction, made in France. No original Box. Selling AS IS no returns please. (display track not included) Edobaud is well known for their sturdy well made products. This one has a wooden deck and bulkheads, with a steel frame and truss rods, all assembled with actual nuts and bolts. There are Hook type couplers and 4 end bumpers. These old Edobaud Trains are somewhat rare and seldom seen, especially here is the USA. Per Wikipedia-Edobuad was not very well known outside of France, as they were only sold there. These unique trains were very well made and many survive to this day. Because they were entirely hand assembled, limited quantities were manufactured. Edobaud disappeared around 1938 after 10 years of operation. Shipping-will ship with care, in a sturdy box with foam padding, via cheapest way usps priority mail. Ship weight boxed is about 2 lbs.
