It was published in 1940 by CADMUS BOOKS and has a unique red designed front cover with Horton in red. The book is "sound" but note has a black tape reinforcement on the spine and the borders are worn reflecting how much this book has been enjoyed. One page has a tear and inside the front cover is a tear. Inside back cover show typical "public school" date due page and pocket for the book's card plus "Discard" printed. First page show stamp of Cape Girardeau Public Schools. Some pages show a few "discolorations" probably from interested reader use. Cool book! A unique piece of history and headed toward the 100 year mark!!
