Description: AWESOME POLISHED FIRE AGATE SPECIMEN, from Arizona, is a very rare, old stock, semi-dome polished window banded agate nodule specimen with colorful banded bubbles in shades of gold, orange, & blue-green. This is from an old collection, and was collected well over 40 years ago when there was still good, sizeable fire agate pieces to be found at Saddle Mtn. There may be more fire that is buried in the rough, and this piece could be cut for a great cab for jewelry making. This a terrific addition to any rare Arizona, rock, or mineral collectors collection. This piece came from my own personal collection of over 25 years that I am in the process of liquidating, and I will be continuing to list many fine agates and jaspers from my collection over the coming months, so check back often for some really great deals! 1 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 1 1/4" All my pieces are photographed in an indoor light booth.
