This belonged to Robert H Weber of Socorro, New Mexico, who discovered and excavated the Mockingbird Gap Clovis/early man site near Socorro. He signed his name on the top right corner of the first page. Great reference book. Edited by Dee Ann Suhm and Edward B. Jelks. Published jointly by The Texas Archeological Society (Special Publication No 1), and The Texas Memorial Museum (Bulletin No 4) at Austin Texas-1962. Hard plastic Notebook covers with very heavy duty multi-metal ring binder (not 3-ring). Contents are nice and unmarked. The first 157 pages are devoted to the many various pottery types found in the region. (see photo of table of contents) with lots of B/W photo/plates of each type. The rest of the book is devoted to Projectile Point types. Has point descriptions, locations, age and cultural affiliation, as well as lots of B/W photos/plates showing many examples of each various point type-too many to list. (Pages 161-294).
