Rare Big Ben Clock Ivory Style 4 Chime Alarm 1936 Excellent Works Perfectly N/R

Description: A recent estate find.It was recently taken from protected, clean dry storage after many decades. After doing much research I believe this this clock to be super rare. This is a 1936 working Western Cock Company, WESTCLOX, Style 4 chime wind up alarm clock. After doing much research I haven't been able to find another one like it in as nice of condition as this one. This is in its original unrestored condition. The face reads "Made by Western Clock Company" and in 1936 the name changed to "Made by Westclox". About April 1936 the ivory color with brass was introduced. This clock has a brown banded dial and luminous numerals and hands. Because of its age the glow doesn't last very long at all. Barely long enough for me to take a photo of it. Even after shining bright light on it. Everything about this wind up clock has been tested and is in excellent working condition. Right down to the sliding door (window?) to access the adjustment to speed up or slow down the time keeping of the movement. The Glass lens has no scratches on it. The only damage I see is the small chips to the paint on its base shown in photos. The rest of the ivory painted surface is bright and shiney. The brass case is also the alarm bell. When the chime alarm sounds, it starts with a slow 1, 1-2 ring and finishes with a steady fast ring. This was to gradually awaken users without the startle of a steady, loud ring. All of the brass on this is still bright and shiney with only some minimal surface scratches. The bottom of base still has its original (felt?) circular feet.
