Description: Antique Omani Khanjar Dagger Jambiya Silver. Comes from the estate of a Diplomat in Washington DC. There a few other Islamic artifacts that were either collected or given as a gift. Old Rare Islamic Omani Khanjar Silver Dagger Jambiya with Horn Handle, old Rare Knife Silver buckle. Appears to be either early 20th or late 19th century. An excellent example of a classic Omani Khanjar. Green felt lines the back of the sheath. Blue felt is used as an accent lining the back of the buckle. Bakelite handle is accented silver. Small “flea bite” visible on the backside of the handle. Size of Dagger: Total Length of the dagger with sheath: 30.5 cm Length of the blade with handle: 29.5 cm. Length of the blade without handle: 16 cm. Length of Belt: 84,5 cm Total Weight of Dagger: 706 grams
