Description: A beautiful red leather desk stationary box dating to around 1910. The front and top lid feature a silver metal triangle applied design in each corner and center. The interior has numerous compartments to organize correspondence. What makes this model rare is the bottom features three glass windows that have ribbons to display a perpetual calendar of month, weekday, and date. There are knobs under the lid to adjust the display. Unfortunately, the ribbons will need to be assessed and repaired. Measures 10.5 inches wide, 8.5 inches high and 6.5 inches deep. Unmarked, likely European in origin. There are areas of losses, staining and a missing pin to one corner of the central silver ornament. Please review the photos for further assessment. Nice stately desk accessory ready to use and display. Items in photos are for presentation purposes and are not included with the box. Please check our our other antique listings.
