Came out of Dr. Maloney's doctors bag; he had a hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee in the early1900's. His family had been in medical practice all the way back to before the civil war. This is one of the first medical pen lights and when we researched it there are attachments one can mount on it. Very rare and found on Worthpoint. It features a push button switch that one has to push in and hold to turn the light on. Works on AA batteries which are not included. It would make a great addition to an old medical or flashlight collection. It is in very good used condition - There is usage wear and patina but works well - There are no breaks, cracks, dents or repairs - Inside is clean too - The item is tarnished brass in color and is photographed next to a stainless steel (silver in color) rulers for color comparison and size.
