Description: Here is a lovely and rare, antique, 19th century table top picture frame made from bird's eye maple wood and inlaid with baroque style garlands, swags, and birds.It has an oval 'window' and is European in origin.It comes with its original hinged easel foot stand, and the antique tin type with which it was found.It comes WITHOUT any glass.It measures 6 inches tall, by 4- 1/8 inches wide, and is 1/4 inches thick.The frame's oval 'window' measures 2- 1/2 inches high, by 1- 3/4 inches wide. This frame is in excellent, used antique, condition with no damage or repairs. Just some gentle scuffing and a few minor scratches consistent with its age and use. (See photos).
