Description: This listing is for a very rare antique early 19th century grain-painted wood embroidery frame or rack which has an 1830 memorial sampler still attached to it. The sampler is in excellent, clean condition and measures about 8.5 by 8.5 inches. The frame measures about 17 inches long and 15 inches tall. It is adjustable using the rings and threaded screw-like wooden side arms and with wing nuts as well. These frames are very rare to find and to have a sampler still attached to it is amazing. The sampler has a grave monument, tree, the date Nov. 22, 1830, and what appear to be 3 large initials at the upper part of the sampler. It is finely embroidered with a floral border. Buyer pays shipping. Please review and enlarge the photos and ask any questions you may have as the photos are a very important part of the description. Thank you.
