Description: Rare antique 14k solid gold components mechanical pencil. The item is in decent cosmetic shape with normal age-related wear(see the photos). The pencil is about two inches long ( in its unfolded configuration), made of solid 14k yellow gold parts( tube & end tip) , the other perts are gold-filled "crown" and two rings and faux ivory tube. The pencil is not in working condition, looks like it is missing the lead sleeve from which the graphite lead should come out. This pencil is rare, hard to find in any condition , antique 19th century item, great for collection or as a restoration project.
