This is not to be confused with the plastic 149s produced from the 1950s onward; this pen features a celluloid body, highly desirable (and working!) telescopic piston. It features all the hallmarks of 149s made in this time period: a "Masterpiece" cap band, the nib size printed on the blind cap, the "Made in Germany" markings on the barrel and the abalone star. The pen is in at least near mint condition and is fully restored and working. Please see the photos to make your own assessment of the pen's condition -- they are true to it. Returns are accepted within seven days of arrival. However, this pen is extremely delicate. For this reason, I will be packing it very securely and shipping it expedited and fully insured -- the reason for the high shipping cost of this pen.
