I soaked this textile for 3 days! There were heavy, dark storage marks but it washed beautifully! This textile dates from the late 1700s or early 1800s. It was found in a stash of textiles , one dated 1817 ( listed in my store, search 1817 if it is still available! ) There is a hand stitched CB monogram ~ heavy , floppy BEAUTIFUL linen ~ tab for hanging ~ MEASUREMENTS : This towel measures approximately 52 inches by 19 inches. ~*~ CONDITION : This towel has been freshly laundered and pressed.
