Description: Very rare Acrocanthosaurus museum promotional bumper sticker / decal. This promotional decal was created for the 2000 Grand Opening of the new NC Museum of Natural Sciences, the only location in the world with an actual Acrocanthosaurus skeleton and skull. Acrocanthosaurus means "high-spined lizard". Acrocanthosaurus lived during the Early Cretaceous and was the largest N. American predator of its time (growing to nearly 40' long and 13' tall) and had large three-fingered forelimbs compared to the Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex) smaller two-fingered forelimbs. New, never used decal as received during the museum Grand Opening event in 2000. Excellent condition for 23 years old. No folds, no creases, no pin holes. Measures approximately 3" H x 10 7/8" L. Kept in non-smoking home. Printed on heavyweight paper. Awesome decal! You won't find many of these... Great for fossil / dinosaur fans and collectors! Will only ship to a United States address. Items carefully and quickly shipped by USPS. Our Post Office is closed on both Saturday and Sunday, so any purchases on Friday may not be shipped until Monday (the next business day). The same is true for purchases the day before a holiday. Contact me with any questions. Be sure to check out our auctions and our store!
