Description: RARE (2) Vntg 1990’s AMERICANA HAND PAINTED Canvas 41x14in TABLE RUNNERS A rare (Set of 2) 1990’s Vintage Americana Folk Art table runners which can also be used as wall art. These hand crafted runners are painted on cotton linen/canvas and measure 41”L x 14”W. They have been done in a manner of looking antique with the use of deep muted shades of red/discolored white/blue with what appears to be a wash or tint applied to give them their old world charm. The canvas/backing has a taupe tone to it visible at the edges of every centrally featured painted stripe. The all around boarders are a deep blue with (3) gold stars adorning both ends, with matching hand knotted gold cotton floss fringes. The back side has carried over the blue painted edges, with stitched outlines separating the unpainted linen which backs the red/discolored white painted striped section on the front of each. Because these are hand painted there are variations and irregularities in the art work. NEVER USED.
