Glenton An original vintage 19th century photograph of an outdoor group of people that appear to be associated with a sports team (see details of boy with flag and people wearing team hats and other uniform elements). Taken circa 1870s by Nashua, New Hampshire photographer, Filemon H. Glenton. Stamping on back of gray mount reads: "From F. Glenton, Photographer Nashua. N.H.". Photograph measures about 8 x 10 inches; on 12 x 14 inches mounting board. Photograph is in very good antique condition with minor surface soiling/staining; mount board is worn with loss at upper and lower left side corners. Filemon H. Glenton was listed as an "Artist Photographer" with most of his known photographs being floral arrangements, funeral flowers, wreaths, church interiors and house and family photographs. Most of his work is found attached to tan mounts, and occasionally some photos are tinted. He used a fancy camera logo on back during the 1870s & 1880s when he was in partnership with E.W.
