Description: I acquired this pump from an agricultural grower in the Mendocino Valley of California near Ukiah, California in early 1969. This pump has since been professionally restored to like new condition. This pump is truly a rare restored piece of American and Petroliana history. Since its restoration it has always been kept in an indoor environment and maintained in its original restored condition. It will be the responsibility of the purchaser to pick up the pump locally in northwestern Montana or arrange for its shipment at the buyers expense. This pump is very heavy and weighs many hundreds of pounds. This pump is from the sidewalk gasoline fueling era prior to their being any service stations. Fueling would take place from the sidewalks in front of places like the local hardware store. This Boyle - Dayton Pump was manufactured in Los Angeles, California in the very early 1900's. This pump is a very rare gem and any collector would be proud to add this to their collection.
