Description: This rare 1900s "Critic" litho flat hinged tobacco tin, measuring 1 5/8" x 3" x 4 1/2", is in good condition with no dents, some superficial rust on the bottom interior and some age related paint chips and scratches. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. The hinged is in excellent working order. This very attractive` blue, pale green and gold tin was made by the Hasker & Marcuse Manufacturing Company, Richmond, VA. It features detailed graphics including images of an owl with a man in the mood and a woman wearing a bathing costume reclining on tobacco leaves. The tobacco was manufactured by Daniel Scotten & Company, Detroit, MI in Factory 1, 1st District, MI.
