Description: This adorable little children’s book is not the same as the one written by Anna Burnham in large print in 1898 for the same publisher but is published by same, D. Lothrop & Co, Boston and G. T. Day & Co., Dover, NH. It’s pages measure 6 1/2 by 4 inches. There is no copyright date or author attribution. The book does have faint presentation handwritten and dated 1876 and was presented to an Adam Shenk by his teacher in Millersville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The gold on the cover is in good condition and overall the book is quite nice. I’m not a professional antiquarian book grader so I’ve taken as many photos of anything of interest I can but happy to respond to questions with additional photos if you require that. Animals included in the book are dog, pig, rat, stag, hare, elephant, donkey, horse, rabbit, zebra, wolf, hippopotamus, armadillo, white bear, fox.
