Description: A truly rare collectable in many categories: This is a pair of 1930 Pennsylvania State License plates. Pairs are tough to come by at this age, becoming separated over the years. According to Wikipedia, PA stopped issuing paired plates after 1952. This set specifically has the numbers ā1776ā on it. Now the year 1776 in Pennsylvania was kind of a notable time. A few guys got together for a gathering in the town of Philadelphia on July 4th and wrote this little paper up called The Declaration of Independence. The rest is āVā-ictory Considering their age, these plates are in great condition. The majority of their paint is still intact. There are a few little edge bends as shown, but nothing too harsh. If you love America or are a plate collector, make this the centerpiece of your collection Please view all pictures and ask any questions prior to purchase Plates will be packaged very safely and shipped USPS Priority mail with Insurance
