Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Here we have a visually appealing baluster shape pitcher dating to the late 1770s. This is decorated with black mocha seaweed on a wide coffee color band. The pitcher has nicely formed foliate terminals on the applied handle and green glaze infilled bands below the rim. Completing the decoration are 8 narrow solid black glazed bands and a single mustard yellow glazed band. This stunning small pitcher measures only 4 ¾” in height to the rim. The pitcher is in very fine near mint condition with only minor glaze wear on the rim and two small chips on the inside of the foot rim that don’t detract. This pitcher would enhance and be highly prized in any collection.
